Opening Date Set For £1m Gusto Restaurant In West Bridgford - With 25% Off Food
A date has been set for the opening of a new Gusto restaurant in West Bridgford following a £1m transformation of the former Monkey Tree after its closure last year.
The pub has become a high-end, but casual, Italian eatery, which will officially open its doors on February 9 - and there's an online introductory offer of 25% .off food.
Bookings are already being taken for the first in the East Midlands for the chain which has 15 other restaurants across the UK.
The property, in Bridgford Road, has undergone a complete transformation into the brand's signature style - complete with the imposing local landmark, a monkey puzzle tree, standing tall on the terrace.
The menu of freshly prepared dishes includes the best-selling spaghetti pesto with green beans, sun-dried tomatoes and rocket leaves and homemade pizzas.
Gusto's managing director Sue Crimes said: "We're really excited to open our latest bar and restaurant – the West Bridgford site is the perfect location for our clientele and it's at the heart of the busy food and drink scene in the area.
"The reception from locals has been fantastic, we've been overwhelmed with the number of table bookings we've received before we've even opened the doors – Nottingham is excited for Gusto and we couldn't be more thrilled."
Gusto will open at 5pm on February 9.
