The Living Ventures' Mad Hatter's Tea Party 2013
Sunday 8th July 2013 saw the annual LV Summer bash. Held on a glorious day, this year's theme was Mad Hatter's Tea Party, with an array of the restaurants' General Managers, Head Chef's, head office staff, suppliers and good friends attending.
The Mad Hatter's Tea Party theme brought out some amazing outfits, which made it literally a Mad Hatter's Party! Everyone made a great effort; we had a few Cheshire cats, a lot of Mad Hatters and countless Alices.
The picnic boxes and cake stall were amazing with a lot of time and effort going into producing them, they went down a treat! A big thank you to Mr Branagan and team.
Every year all of the restaurant's performances are assessed and awards are given out for; General Manager of the Year, Head Chef of the Year, Best Service Scan and Best Training Unit. The winners on the night were:
General Manager of the Year for Blackhouse - Simon Potts
Head Chef of the Year for Blackhouse - John Doyle
General Manager of the Year for Gusto - Mark Burville
Head Chef of the Year for Gusto - James Scott
Best Service Scan Award - Samantha Smith, The Hale Grill
Best Training Unit Award - The Hale Grill
A big thank you to Mrs Bacon for a great evening and to Craig Johns and crew for all their hard work.
Here's to the next one...
