Blackhouse Turned To Pinkhouse In Support Of Breast Cancer Awareness
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Living Ventures BLACKHOUSE Restaurants became PINK for the duration of October!
From the 1st to the 31st, seven BLACKHOUSE restaurants officially became PINKHOUSE and supported Breast Cancer Care with events and ongoing initiatives throughout the month.
All guests dining had the opportunity to donate to Breast Cancer Care, with a discretionary £1 being added to each table’s bill throughout October.
Additionally, 25p from every glass sold of rosé wine or pink Champagne from a specially selected list also went to the charity.
A Living Ventures spokesperson said: “We have been overwhelmed by the support shown by our guests for Breast Cancer Care and PINKHOUSE. We are very proud to support such a worthwhile charity and to have raised a significant amount of money that we know will help those who need it.
Chief executive of Breast Cancer Care, Samia al Qadhi, said “We’d like to thank the staff and customers at BLACKHOUSE for supporting Breast Cancer Care this October by turning pink. PINKHOUSE is a fabulous idea and I hope everyone enjoyed fundraising at the special events held at each of the restaurants. Participants can feel proud knowing that the money raised will help Breast Cancer Care to continue providing vital support services for anyone affected by breast cancer.”
Each restaurant also held a special event to raise additional funds and the group are delighted to announce that the total amount raised for the PINKHOUSE campaign was… £21,996!!! So a huge thanks to all our customers for showing such incredible support for this wonderful charity.
