New Gusto to Greek Street!

Looking to add a little sparkle of sophistication to your dining experience? Drawing from the traditional Grand Cafés of Europe, Gusto opens the doors to their brand new and stylish Greek Street restaurant. Combining a classy atmosphere with an impressive menu, this exquisite venue offers a perfect excuse for you to treat yourself to something a tad more grand this summer...
With an investment of over £1 million this brand new restaurant is the third in the UK to feature a stylish new ‘grand café' design along with an extensive menu and over 100 cocktails. According to the Managing Director of Gusto, Sue Crimes:
"This is a very exciting time for Gusto - we are delighted to be opening a second restaurant in Leeds. Gusto is evolving as a brand and whilst we have changed the style of the décor a little and changed the logo the new Gusto has everything that our customers have come to expect from us and a little bit more! - Great food, excellent service and a great night out."
Gusto's already renowned, classic and contemporary Italian menu works with fresh, carefully selected, simple ingredients to create scrumptious cuisine; and at Greek Street the menus are even more exciting with a range of your favourite Italian flavours including a mouth-watering choice of pizzas - all baked in a traditional wood fired oven - pastas and risottos, including the ‘Truffle Verdi' a courgette, goats' cheese and truffle pizza and a ‘lemon risotto' with white crab and lobster dressing.
But if you fancy something a little more extravagant there are dishes such as ‘home cured salmon tartare and quails egg' ‘whole salt baked sea bass' and ‘Nutella and mascarpone calzone' and more; all of which would no doubt take you on a truly memorable culinary adventure! A lunch option, comprehensive wine list and a selection of unique specials will all feature, with plans to introduce an indulgent afternoon tea menu.
Conveniently located in Pennine House, Greek Street in the financial district, this brand new addition and second Gusto restaurant for Leeds occupies what was formerly Henry's Bar. Throwing in a modern twist on Italian brasserie classics, with chic décor and a romantic ambience, the lavish refurbishments have transformed the venue with touches of art deco styling throughout, along with a striking bar.
"Leeds City Centre's restaurant scene is in a period of enormous growth and we felt the time was right to introduce Gusto to the city. The casual dining sector is well catered for in Leeds, so we feel there is definitely room for a high-quality, sophisticated venue, particularly on Greek Street where we expect to see a lot of interest from the business community," Sue Crimes concluded.
An Italian restaurant with an English twist, Gusto caters for just about everyone. Whether you want a place to spoil your children and family with an exquisite meal, enjoy a few after-work drinks with your colleagues, looking for a spot for a quick lunch or takeaway on a weekday afternoon or better yet, a nice romantic meal on an evening, Gusto will no doubt meet your expectations.
