Gusto Set To Expand Into Lancashire

Gusto, the private equity-backed Italian restaurant chain, is set to open its first venue in Lancashire.

The business has invested more than £1m into a new 4,000 sq ft restaurant and bar on Dicconson Terrace in Lytham. The 130-cover restaurant, which includes an outside terrace that can seat 40, is scheduled to open its doors at 5pm on Thursday, 14 April 2016.

Gusto is currently recruiting for 60 newly created jobs at the restaurant.

Sue Crimes (pictured), Gusto managing director, said: "This is a very exciting time for Gusto - we are delighted to be opening in Lytham.

"The restaurant will be packed with aspirational touches that feels like home, a place where you can feel welcome and special that is perfect for so many occasions. Lancashire's restaurant scene is in a period of enormous growth and we felt the time was right to bring Gusto to Lytham."

Gusto, part of the Living Ventures group of companies, underwent a management buyout in a deal that involved Palatine Private Equity acquiring a majority stake in the business in April 2014.
