Tim Bacon Awarded the Tony Award at Downtown Manchester in Business Awards

We are delighted to announce that Tim Bacon has been awarded the Tony award at the Downtown Manchester in Business Awards 2014.

Manchester: Network organisation Downtown Manchester in Business, in association with online video, marketing experts, Motion Digital hosted its second annual ‘Mancoolian' awards last night (Thursday, 23rd October).

Representing a variety of industries, the Mancoolian winners of 2014 included dynamic professionals influencing Manchester's business scene.

The awards, staged at the Imperial War Museum North in Greater Manchester, featured a diverse range of accolades from ‘Sexy Networker' - male and female - to ‘Best Digital Entrepreneur of the Year' being presented to professionals who have demonstrated grit, determination and entrepreneurial flair during the past 12 months.

Michael Taylor, chairman of Downtown Manchester in Business, said: "Last year's inaugural ‘Mancoolian' awards were a huge success and we were excited to bring the biggest business party of the year to Manchester again. As one of the most influential business network clubs in the region, we were pleased to announce a new group of smart and dedicated go-getters who have earned themselves ‘Mancoolian' titles this year.

"These are individuals who have made immense contributions to making the Greater Manchester city region a great place to do business, and I'd like to convey my congratulations to all the winners."

Following the ‘Mancoolian' awards gala dinner in 2013, the night became a key calendar event marked by top-class entertainment - including a popular photobooth and aftershow party (this year held at Lucha Libre), as well as networking opportunities, bringing together the vibrant business community of Manchester.
