Bacon reveals big plans for Artisan and Alchemist Spinningfield venues
MAJOR expansion plans for Living Ventures' Manchester venues Artisan and Alchemist Spinningfields have been confirmed by co-founder and chief executive Tim Bacon
Work has now commenced on the Artisan Café Bar situated on the ground floor of the existing restaurant and bar on The Avenue North, Spinningfields.
It will offer both indoor and outdoor seating and open from breakfast until late for small plates and drinks.
Another innovative development for Artisan arrives in autumn with the opening of a much-anticipated cinema room, the first of its kind in Manchester, which will host private screenings and product launches.
Artisan has announced a venue collaboration with Curzon Cinemas so the cinema room will be showing current releases and popular classics.
The cinema will be able to accommodate up to 30 people while an adjoining room and private bar offers further hospitality opportunities.
Meanwhile, The Alchemist Spinningfields is to get a huge extension doubling the restaurant capacity both inside and out to meet increased demand.
"The Alchemist is one of the highest trading units in the country, and every year it grows," said Bacon (pictured). "We need more space there, so for us taking another 2,500 square feet is a really great opportunity."
The Alchemist is open for morning coffee, brunch, lunch and dinner offering everything Living Ventures are renowned for – excellent service, innovative cocktails and great food.
